Nikki grew up in San Diego where she started out riding on the county-level show circuit. Under the training of Virginia Mulvaney, Nikki leaned all she needed and more about horse care. She continued her education at Centenary University where she rode on the IHSA team and majored in Equine Studies with a concentration in Equine Business Management and Social Media Marketing.
 
Upon graduating in May of 2019, Nikki joined the North Run team as a groom. Throughout her time as a groom, Nikki learned all she could from our long-time Vermont Barn Manager Brian Robinson. Brian helped guide Nikki into the role she has with us today as North Run’s Wellington farm and travel Barn Manager.
 
Nikki believes that working at North Run taught her to be more independent and trust herself more, making her a better horsewoman overall.
