Luke joined the North Run team in 2021 as a Working Student. He grew up riding under Colleen McQuay, Bill Schaub, Martien van der Hoeven, and Bobby Braswell, respectively, spending most of his time under the training of Martien.

In his two years as a Working Student at North Run, Luke gained valuable riding and horse care experience while earning top placings in the equitation ranks. With North Run's Jamaica, Luke won the 2022 Dover/USEF Medal National Championship, the WEF Equitation Championship and the R.W. "Ronnie" Mutch Equitation Championship, and placed 2nd in the Platinum Performance/USEF Show Jumping Talent Search Final – East and ASPCA Maclay Finals.

Now, Luke has stepped into his role as a professional at North Run, riding and showing horses in addition to helping out around the barn. His favorite part of this transition has been continuing to be a part of the great team at North Run, staff and horses alike.
