Maggie has been with North Run since the spring of 2015 and has worked her way up to being an essential part of the team as assistant trainer.

 

Maggie was born and raised in Wellington, Florida, which is where her interest and love for horses began. Throughout her junior career, Maggie spent most of her time catch riding for a multitude of trainers and owners up and down the East Coast. Her first catch ride experience came from renowned hunter rider Scott Stewart from Rivers Edge Farm.

 

In her latter junior years Maggie was a working student for Jennifer Bieling. It was there Maggie became involved with the prepping, training and showing of young horses and ponies.

 

Maggie attended Oklahoma State University where she earned a degree in Sports Management and Marketing while representing their NCAA Equestrian Team as a Senior Captain. During her summer breaks she worked for Sarah Doyle and Ava Stearns at their Pond View Farm on Martha’s Vineyard. It was through Ava and Sarah that Maggie was introduced to Missy and John.

 

Along with Maggie’s teaching, riding and organizational skills, combined with her enthusiasm and her patience, she has become an incredibly valued member of the North Run team.
